Killarney Karting: Round One - The Photo Essay
It was the first round of the regional karting action at Killarney’s karting circuit. I could tell that racing had been missed judging by the extra effort in the hand gesturing by the karting dads and the screams from the karting moms.
The day’s temperatures were soaring. We’re talking “gates-of-hell-opening” heat levels, with some places hitting 37 degrees. I felt my supergas getting stickier than those slicks on the track. Sheez. Someone pass me a beer!
However, the heat didn’t stop the action on the track as the prospects battled it out.
If you’re keen on purchasing any of the pics, let me know which one and I’ll mail you the hi-res image. R100 per shot. All proceeds go towards funding the company car of this page (Class B Polo) and hopefully a DD2 one day for myself.
